News from Novitiate!
Tuesday, January 26, 2010 by Fr. Santo Arrigo C.Ss.R.

December 8 was a big day: these novices were “invested” in their Redemptorist habits for the first time:

Aaron Meszaros from Grand Rapids, MI, a novice for the Denver Province, Larry Lynch from Grande Prairie, AB, Canada, a novice for the Ste. Anne de Beaupré (Quebec) Province, Jacky Merilan from Haiti, a novice for the English-speaking Caribbean Region of the Baltimore Province, and Marco Limberger, from Bonn, Germany, a novice for the St. Clement Province. Marco is not a North American, but the St. Clement Province, as the Dublin Province has done in the past, occasionally sends novices to the North American Novitiate.

This year was special, with Father General Emeritus Joseph Tobin celebrating the Investiture Mass at the Redemptorist Retreat Center in Oconomowoc, WI.

Congratulations to the novices! They ask that you keep them in your prayers.

Toronto will become the home of the North American Novitiate this coming summer!
