What is Dialogue?

Dialogue is an event that gathers young adults and Redemptorists from across the North American Region. This event is a time to discuss the needs of the Church and the role that young adults play in guiding the church towards the Redemptorist Charism, “to serve the poor and most abandoned.”
Date and Location
Dialogue 2010 will take place August 2-7, 2010 in Canandaigua, New York (near Rochester)
Who is it for?
Dialogue is for young adults, age 18-35 and Redemptorists who seek to grow with one another in their faith journeys.
What can I expect?
- celebration of the Eucharist
- daily prayer with the experience of other cultures
- a strong sense of community
- opportunities to share your faith
- to meet Redemptorists from around the world
- excitement and fun
Our Theme: Opening the Gift
Each of us by our Baptism has been blessed by the Holy Spirit with gifts needed to live our lives for God in the world. We invite you to join other young adults from Redemptorist parishes all over North America in discovering how we can better use the gifts we have been given.
Transportation for Participants from the Edmonton-Toronto Province
There will be vehicles leaving from Toronto to Canandiauga, New York. Delegates from the Edmonton-Toronto Province can gather in Toronto and be a part of the caravan there and back! Road Trip!
What to Bring…..
- Passport, birth certificate or proof of citizenship.
- Travel Health Insurance Policy
- Health Card
- Liability Release Form (Available for Download here)
- Pocket Money
- Musical Instrument (if you play one)
- At least 2 pairs of shoes
- Casual Clothing (shorts are acceptable)
- Towels and Toiletries
- Camera, Swimwear
